Terms and Conditions: - By signing the order form and submitting this order to our representative, you confirm and affirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions. The Local Business Guide Limited (TLBG Ltd) reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions but amendments by TLBG Ltd to the terms and conditions will only be effective on new orders. TLBG Ltd will notify you of any material amendments to the Terms and Conditions, however, it is your responsibility to review the Terms and Conditions from time to time. Rights of Refusal: - TLBG Ltd reserves the right not to publish any material on it’s Business Card Directory website which does not meet with its approval without giving reason. All material must conform to all standards laid down by all relevant advertising standards authorities.

Copyrights and Trademarks: - All business cards and advertising material are accepted and published by TLBG Ltd onto their Directory website upon representation that the advertiser is authorised to publish the entire contents and subject matter thereof. In consideration of TLBG Ltd’s acceptance of such advertising material for publication, the advertiser will indemnify and hold TLBG Ltd harmless from and against any loss or expense resulting from claims or suits for libel, violation of right of privacy, plagiarism and copyright infringement. Only the conditions appearing in TLBG Ltd’s acceptance of advertising orders are binding upon TLBG Ltd. By supplying text, images and other data derived from a client’s own website to TLBG Ltd for inclusion in the Card Directory, the customer declares that it holds the appropriate copyright and/or trademark permissions. The ownership of such materials will remain with the customer, or rightful copyright or trademark owner. Should TLBG Ltd, or the customer supply a business card, image, text or any other file for use on their Directory website, or any other medium believing it to be copyright and royalty free, which subsequently emerges to have such copyright or royalty usage limitations, the customer will agree to allow TLBG Ltd to remove and/or replace the file on the Directory. Any advertisement or material designed by TLBG Ltd will remain the property of, and is for the exclusive use of, TLBG Ltd unless otherwise agreed.

Default: - In the event of any breach by the advertiser, TLBG Ltd shall be entitled to recover from the advertiser, in addition to all other damages, all costs and expenses including court costs, reasonable legal fees and interest at the maximum rate provided by law.

Payment: - By placing an ongoing order, you, the buyer, consent to payment being charged to your debit/credit card account or electronic payment by Standing Order on a regular periodic basis as provided on the order form. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account before the deployment of the service. You will be charged the prices quoted for products you have selected by debit/credit card or Standing Order. Payments will continue on a monthly or quarterly basis as per the order form. It is the responsibility of the customer to promptly notify TLBG Ltd of any changes to their billing information. Returned Direct Debits will incur an additional fee of £10 per returned request. TLBG Ltd reserves the right to consider an account to be in default in the event of a returned Direct Debit.

Payment of fees for the placement of an order for a fixed period of 6 or 12 months can be made by credit / debit card, cheques made payable to ‘The Local Business Guide Limited’, BACS transfer, Standing Order or cash. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account before the deployment of the service to you. All advertisers must agree to honour the terms of their booking and make payment no later than the terms laid down in the Terms and Conditions. TLBG Ltd reserves the right to remove any business card and information from their Card Directory and cancel any order not settled on a timely basis.

Cancellation: - There is a minimum term contract of 6 months. After this 6 month period cancellation of orders may be made initially by telephone contact, or e-mail, but notification to TLBG Ltd will need to be made in writing to the company's postal address. TLBG Ltd will then remove your details from their Business Card Directory. Any cancellation which is not formally confirmed in writing and received by TLBG Ltd within 14 days of payment being over-due will be liable for the full payment over-due.

Privacy Policy: - Except as required by law, TLBG Ltd will exercise all reasonable efforts to ensure that any personal information remains confidential. TLBG Ltd will not sell your personal information to third parties.

Disclaimer: - TLBG Ltd makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, for any and all products and/or services that it supplies. TLBG Ltd will not be held responsible for any and all damages resulting from products and/or services it supplies. TLBG Ltd is not responsible for any loss, or consequential loss of data, or non-delivery of products or services, of whatever cause. While we take reasonable steps to investigate the materials we recommend, we accept no responsibility for the performance or quality of materials or any consequential loss arising from their failure. The customer agrees not to hold TLBG Ltd responsible for any such loss or damage. Any claim against TLBG Ltd shall be limited to the relevant fee(s) paid by the customer. TLBG Ltd is not responsible for any losses incurred by any customer or otherwise in relation to any failure of internet availability, and TLBG Ltd is dependent upon third party internet service provider functionality. TLBG Ltd will endeavour to ensure all information advertised is correct and make amendments as and when changes come to the attention of TLBG Ltd. However, TLBG Ltd is not responsible for any inaccuracy or misstatement of any such information. You should read the information advertised and inform us of any amendments and bring to our attention any changes.
