Description:	The Barge Inn is a traditional country pub located at the centre of the famous Battlesbridge Antique's Centre. Selling good quality wines, a large selection of well kept cask ales and a wide choice of lagers, all complimented by fantastic food produced with care and attention using only the freshest ingredients sourced locally whenever possible, we use only British beef and lamb, and our free range pork is from Blythburgh, Suffolk, fresh fish is delivered daily. Our menu changes often, to reflect locally and seasonally available ingredients. In the summer months our clients enjoy our riverside setting and often prefer to drink and dine outside in the sun enjoying the fresh-air relaxing as they watch the world go by. In winter, come and enjoy the warmth and comfort of our traditional pub with open log fires and farmhouse furnishings that create a really relaxing atmosphere, enjoy a good Ale and great quality food. The Barge is also able to offer a Private Dining Room, 'The Pink Room' available for private functions and events with dining up to 14 people. At the Barge we take great pride in our Gastro Menu which features traditional pub classics such as deep-fried beer battered cod or haddock and hand cut chips. A bar menu is also available at lunchtimes offering a selection of sandwiches and lighter-bite meals along with the superb Mussels menu.
