Description:	Paul & Elaine Hills are fully qualified members of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and the International Dance Teachers Association, two of the largest professional dance teachers’ organizations in the world. They have many years of experience in teaching at all levels and both hold the IDTA’s Fellowship qualification. They hold qualifications in Ballroom, Latin (including Salsa, Mambo, Merengue), Freestyle (including Street Dance), Rock ‘n’ Roll, Cheerleading, Country & Western Line Dancing & Musical Theatre and all these subjects are taught at Spotlight in addition to Argentine Tango and Tap!!! Both are experienced lecturers and Championship Adjudicators. In addition Elaine holds the British Council of Ballroom Dancing Scrutineering certificate. All ages and all abilities are taught. Singles and couples are equally welcome to classes and for private lessons. All pupils are offered opportunities to enter for examinations and competitions and the school regularly attends Imperial Society medallist qualifying heats and the Grand Finals, held in Blackpool each November. High quality structured teacher training is also available. Having danced and taken medal test examinations during their childhood, it was a natural progression for both Paul & Elaine to move on to competitive dancing, partnering up in March 1983 they went on to achieve considerable success in both amateur and professional world class events which included representing their country in international team matches across Europe. They turned professional in 1986 and taught in various schools around the country gaining a wealth of experience which enabled them to launch Spotlight Danceworld in March 1991. The school has gone from strength to strength since opening and many pupils trained by Paul & Elaine at Spotlight have achieved top honours in both amateur and professional examinations and competitions. Spotlight Danceworld celebrated its 20th Anniversary in March 2011.
