When friends and co workers Carlos Gomes and Antonio Loureiro, of Portuguese nationality, with their respective partners Isabel and Fatima, all with several years of restaurant experience decided it was time to try for themselves the success they accomplished working for others in private and corporate establishments. Latino’s Restaurant & Tapas Bar has since expanded and now caters for a large customer base from all over Essex. With a combination of fresh locally sourced products as 70% of our suppliers come from within 10 miles of the restaurant, our experience, continued value for money and a friendly service, Latino’s Restaurant & Tapas Bar enjoys today a great reputation with local diners. Very popular with parties as well as small groups, Latino’s Restaurant & Tapas Bar has an extensive wine list. We specialize mainly on Spanish and Portuguese cuisines, importing a lot of ingredients directly from these countries to produce some of the best authentic flavours. Our main a la carte menu is designed to please most guests, with a great variety of foods from around the “Latin” world. From great starters, fantastic freshly cooked tapas, top quality steaks using only finest matured British beef, great fish dishes from unusual “black scabbard” to popular “sea bass”, stunning freshly cooked “Paellas” the closest you will ever get from Spain, sizzling Mexican fajitas and for less adventurous a few pizzas & Pastas.
